Mykola Tomenko: There should be done everything possible to provide the Fact of Non-interference of the Foreign Citizens in the Election Propaganda
Today during the morning broadcasting on "Era" radio, giving answers on the question regarding the possible break of the Presidential elections, M. Tomenko, the vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine declared that he did not support and did not understand such a discussion.
"Elections would be held. Another question is how to make them democratic and without misunderstandings. This is the most essential question nowadays", - he proclaimed.
"It seems to me that we should pass the form and go the content. Under content I mean organization of the election campaign, where each person may influence the election, when we do not have such a situation and such comedy that one may observe on TRC "Ukraine" during Savik Shuster TV show", - the vice-Chairman declared.
Still, M. Tomenko deems that it is strange that during the evectional campaign there would be involved citizens of other countries at the same time when it is declared by the article 64 "On the Elections of the President of Ukraine" it is strictly forbidden.
"If the anchorman on television before the broadcasting discusses how to organize the election campaign for the Party of Regions, consequently he breaks the Law, is not he? Of course he is. Consequently we must let know beforehand all the owners of mass media and enforcing bodies that people that are not Ukrainian citizen are not allowed to take part in evectional agitation and have an impact of the elections in Ukraine", - M. Tomenko declared.
